Dr. Roxanna Rahban

Dr. Rahban received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of
California, Santa Barbara. She received her B.A. from the University of California, Los
Angeles. She conducted her post-doctoral work specializing in ADHD and learning
disability evaluations. Currently, Dr. Rahban has her own private practice specializing in
neuropsychological and psychological assessments for disability, adoption, personal
injury, and forensic cases for children and adults. She serves as an expert witness and is
on the panel of the LA Superior Court Psychiatric Experts and is an attending
psychologist at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center. She conducts
evaluations for the state through the California Department of Rehabilitation and is a
volunteer coordinator for the San Fernando Valley chapter of CHADD (Children and
Adults with ADHD). As a former Bruin, Dr. Rahban also serves as a volunteer staff at
UCLA supervising undergraduate students in their Department of Psychology’s
Internship Program.
Dr. Rahban has been associated with many psychiatric programs in schools, hospitals and
clinical settings throughout California. She has published articles in multiple
professional publications including the Journal of Psychoeducational Assessment and
Clinical Neuropsychologist. She has been a presenter at conferences for the Society for
Personality Assessment, the American Psychological Association and for Children and
Adults with ADHD. She enjoys educating the community and schools about important
topics relates to children and disabilities. She speaks Farsi and Spanish and on her free
time, enjoys the arts, cooking, and creating documentaries
